Reviews

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I ordered the steak and shrimp came with a sweet potato and an amazing salad. Everything was cooked just right. The staff was real friendly and the inside was fun and clean.

We arrived right around 5pm, restaurant wasn’t busy, no waiting at this point. As we were leaving around 6:30 there was a waiting line of people at the door. Hostess was very personable and sweet. After being seated it took us a while to have a server come to our table for drinks and order. After ordering it took around 45 mins to get our food from the kitchen. Knowing this was a place that promoted the buffet more than the kitchen we expected to wait a little bit but this did seem a little excessive in wait time. Salad bar came with our meals so we got a salad from the bar. There were lots of flies around the bar and on the food, a fan nearby to shoo them away would have been great or a fan at the door to help keep them out in the first place. The salad bar was very basic with limited options and imitation bacon bits, but again most people come for the seafood buffet. The seafood buffet looked good. If I could have eaten it I’m betting it would have tasted great, it sure did smell good. (Wheat and corn allergy ) There were some grits, hush puppies and and peach cobbler offered with the meal as well. When our food arrived it was very generous in portions and tasted great. The ribeye seemed to be prime rib and was tender and juicy. Grilled Shrimp, scallops, and crab legs were delicious and cooked correctly. I’d have liked to have real butter for my potato instead of margarine and the “melted butter” offered on the bar seemed to be flavored oil instead of real butter. Restaurant is a 1980s country kitchen feel with lots of NASCAR decor. If you want a low key, come as you are, country atmosphere of all you can eat buffet of fried seafood, crawfish, boiled shrimp, crab legs, grits, hush puppies, and fries, this is your place to visit.

Wow! I cannot say enough about this place! The best all-you-can-eat crab legs and seafood buffet at an amazing price! Fried whole catfish, frog legs, fried & steamed shrimp, catfish stew, crawfish, etc! Just amazing! Also the peach cobbler is just like your granny used to make!!

A nice country style buffet with good home cooking and a wait staff who are attentive without being intrusive. My family and I went for the all-you-can-eat shrimp special and had a good time. Don't let the outside fool you - it's an excellent place to chow down on some comfort food and get some great eats. A locally known culinary treasure, Angie's gets busy on the weekends, so if you prefer a less crowded atmosphere - and want easier parking (both the parking lot & restaurant are small) - either show up early or on a weekday evening for a special treat to enjoy. 'Like' if this helped you make up your mind - and eat hearty!!

This is my first time eating here and I am very satisfied with the service. The food the music is okay. I know I'm in the country, maybe a little R&B little soul, but overall, I enjoyed it. I definitely will be back out here again. Thank you. The owner looks like Dolly Parton, and she do got the same assets as her
